Postument z lewej to pomnik pruskiego generała, hrabiego Tauentziena. Pomnik przetrwał do 1945,a potem został usunięty. Hrabia walczył przeciw wojskom Napoleona, ktory w roku 1811 zdobył Wrocław i okupował miasto.

The structure to the left is the Tauentzien monument which remained there until 1945. Count Tauentzien was a Prussian general who fought against Napoleon in 1806 (by the way - Napoleon won and occupied Breslau until 1811).
