Były tu dwa konsulaty oraz jeden z najlepszych hoteli, Residenz. (Plac był też przez ponad 30 lat miejscem zamieszkania rodziny Heyduków)

Plac Kosciuszki (Tauentzien Platz) used to be one of the most elegant areas of Breslau.
It was home to a couple of consulates, and the best hotel in town - Residenz. This massive building stood in the northeastern corner of the square, facing south. (The same square was also home to the Heyduk family for over 30 years).
